In our Easy Read training you will learn how to make your existing documents and communications easier to read by translating them into Easy Read.

Our Easy Read training is based on our evidence-based multi-stage translation process, informed by people with intellectual disability.

Providing information in Easy Read ensures resources are accessible and increases the understanding of your communications.

Outcomes:

• Participants have information and knowledge to assist in translating documents into Easy Read.
• Information is accessible and easily understood by a broad audience of stakeholders, staff, clients and families, and potential clients
• Clients are enabled to make choices by being well informed
• Clearly differentiate yourself in the market by providing accessible information on products, services and values.

This course is an introduction to Easy Read. This course does not provide skills or guidance for people/organisations to offer commercial Easy Read services. Please contact business@cid.org.au for a quote if you are considering providing Easy Read translation services commercially.
