The app helps keep the community safe from Coronavirus.

You use the app on your mobile phone.
You can choose to have the app or not.

The app records who you have been near.
Health workers contact you if you have been near someone with COVID-19.
Get the COVIDSafe app

Go to App Store or Google Play on your phone.

Download the COVIDSafe app for free.
Agree to share your information with the government.

- Name and age range
- Postcode and mobile phone number

You can ask someone to help you get the app.
You can delete the app any time.
How the COVIDSafe app works

COVIDSafe uses Bluetooth on your phone.

Turn Bluetooth on and keep it on.

COVIDSafe makes a record of the people you come into close contact with.

The app will use some of your phone battery.
You might need to charge your phone more.
Privacy

Your information is kept private.
Health workers will not share the name of people who have Coronavirus.
