What you can do if you are fully vaccinated

  • In NSW 70% of people are now fully vaccinated.

    Fully vaccinated means you have had two jabs.

    This means you can now do more things if you are fully vaccinated.

    If you are not fully vaccinated you cannot do these things.

  • These are the new rules for fully vaccinated people.

  • Visiting people in their home

    Up to 10 people can go to someone’s home at the same time

    All adults who live in that home must be fully vaccinated.

    Children under 12 do not count in the 10 people limit.

  • Outdoor gatherings

    Up to 30 people will be allowed to gather outdoors.

    They will all have to be vaccinated.

  • Pubs, restaurants and cafes

    These are now open for fully vaccinated people.

    They will limit the amount of people for social distancing.

    People under 16 who are unvaccinated must be with a fully vaccinated person they live with.

  • You must wear a mask and check in if it is indoors.

    If it is outdoors you do not need to wear a mask.

    Standing up and drinking inside the pub is not allowed yet.

    But if there is an outdoor area you can stand up and drink.

     

  • Shops

    All shops will be open for vaccinated people only.

    Unvaccinated people can only go to essential shops like supermarkets and pharmacies.

    They will limit the amount of people for social distancing.

    You must wear a mask and check in.

  • Hairdressers 

    These are now open for fully vaccinated people.

    There can only be up to 5 clients at one time.

  • Gyms and pools

    Gyms can hold classes for up to 20 people.

    Both outdoor and indoor pools will open.

    Indoor pools will only be open for lessons, swimming laps and rehabilitation.

  • Events and entertainment

    Theme parks, stadiums and other big recreation places will be open for fully vaccinated people.

    There will be social distancing rules.

    There are limits on the number of people.

  • Cinemas, theatres, museums and libraries

    These are now open for fully vaccinated people.

    There are limits on how many people for social distancing.

  • Weddings, funerals and places of worship

    Funerals and weddings can have up to 100 guests.

    People must be sitting when they are eating and drinking.

    Dancing is allowed at weddings.

    Places of worship need to limit the amount of people for social distancing.

  • Travel outside your LGA

    People in Sydney will no longer have to follow the 5km distance rule.

    People can travel within greater Sydney, this includes

    •  Central Coast
    • Wollongong
    • Shellharbour
    • Blue Mountains

    People who live in greater Sydney cannot travel outside if this area.

    People from regional LGAs can travel to other areas, but cannot come to Sydney.

  • You will need to show proof you have been vaccinated.
