Speaking up in the bush

July 2026

In Inverell NSW a group of people with intellectual disability met for over 1 year to talk about things important to them.

The group learned to speak up for their rights. They learned to become self advocates.

The group decided to make a video on a topic very important to them. The topic is rights in health care.

People with intellectual disability deserve to be listened to when they get health care. They deserve good health care like anyone else.
