These are called myths.

In this video we bust some of these myths.

There is lots of information about COVID that is not true. These are called myths. We are going to bust these myths.

 

Myth one: Hot temperatures kill COVID.

Not true!

COVID does not care if it is hot or cold.

 

Myth 2

5G internet networks spread the virus.

Not true!

COVID cannot travel on mobile networks. COVID is even spreading countries that do not have 5g.

 

Myth 3

I cannot afford to get vaccinated.

Not true!

Vaccines are free for everyone. You do not have to pay for the appointment.

 

Myth 4

The vaccines were developed too quickly to be safe.

Not true.

Researchers have been working on vaccinations for pandemics for years. When COVID hit, there was a lot of funding for the vaccine. Things move quicker because researchers, scientists and manufacturers all work together.

 

Myth 5

I am too fit and healthy to get COVID.

Not true!

COVID is very infectious. Anyone can get COVID and get very sick or die if they do not get the vaccine.

 

Myth 6

I won’t get COVID if I eat garlic and take vitamins.

Not true!

Garlic and vitamins might boost your immune system but they cannot stop you getting COVID. The vaccine is the one thing that can prevent you getting COVID.
