Sydney Metro access report
November 2019
CID’s advocacy group tested the Sydney Metro train and found serious safety and access issues.
The Metro has positive aspects, but the group found big problems with safety. In their report, they make 3 key recommendations:
- Guarantee staff on every train and at every station
- Keep the doors open long enough for everyone to get on the train
- Make travel speeds safe for everyone so we don’t fall over
