More Than Just a Job for Staff
More Than Just a Job for Staff is a 3 to 4 hour long workshop.
We go behind the scenes of the More Than Just a Job For Me workshop that we run for people with intellectual disability. We show you how to uncover a person’s strengths and skills. We share the exercises we use in the workshops and unpack why and how we use them.
This workshop will help you understand how to develop goals around getting a job for people with intellectual disability.
In this workshop you will learn what tools to use to enable someone to:
- Think about the kind of work a person would like
- Find their interests and strengths
- Set employment goals
- Find supports
This is suited for teachers and support workers for people with intellectual disability.
